About Rick Russell Homes

We are a dynamic family owned and operated company. Our passion is to create and build new custom homes or spaces that match today's standard of modern living. From new custom home construction to remodels, room additions, or kitchens and bath renovations, we have consistently delivered an outstanding finished product.

Rick Russell, an economics major, started building homes in the 1960’s as the new son-in-law of a successful post World War II production builder. One of Rick's childhood hobbies was drawing furniture, and he realized this joy again as he moved toward the creative world of custom home construction. Self taught drafting skills allowed his firm to start designing most of its new homes, as he applied his trained economic eye to architecture.

Since the firm's inception, Rick’s professional team and select qualified contractors, have completed hundreds of homes, developments, and other types of projects. We have worked with numerous architects, engineers, interior designers, trade partners, suppliers, and artisans over the years to develop relationships that allow us to execute effectively.

Economics remains a central focus of Rick Russell Homes to better serve our clients. Estimating and tracking budgets is a priority for every project. A full time bookkeeper on staff systemizes project accounting for transparent open book invoicing. With an astounding number of today’s contractors lacking insurance coverage, we heavily promote our use of liability and workmen’s compensation policies with adequate rates for every project. We have a preferred team of trades and suppliers, but we will reach out for competitive bids to save you money.
